Freeater Named One of Four VC26 Barrier Breakers Finalists

Freeater has been named one of four finalists in the Barrier Breakers category at VC26, recognising its work to make eating out and shopping more inclusive for people with dietary needs.

VC26 Finalist

We’re excited to share that Freeater has been named one of four finalists in the Barrier Breakers category at VC26.

Breaking barriers

Part of VC26’s Special Recognition awards, Barrier Breakers recognises ventures removing barriers linked to disability, age, race, gender, sexuality, background, income or geography.

‍

For Freeater, the recognition feels particularly meaningful. We’re building a platform to help people with food allergies, coeliac disease and other dietary needs eat out and shop with greater confidence, helping to reduce some of the everyday barriers that can come with finding suitable food.

‍

Why Freeater

The recognition comes just days after the launch of Freeater Shopping on 30th September, expanding Freeater’s support beyond eating out and into everyday food shopping.

Being selected is another exciting milestone as we continue working towards a more inclusive future around food.

‍

Everyone deserves a place at the table. 💚
